Week 2

This past week has been the happiest I’ve been in a long time, even though it was also my toughest in terms of pain levels.

The arrival of my tools has finally allowed me to set up my workspace comfortably, enabling me to lose myself in my work.

My bike has allowed me to get my mobility back, which helps lessen pain, strengthen my legs, gets my heart pumping and I get to explore so much more in my day-to-day.

I’m sure I’ll talk more about my bike in the future.

right now

I’m starting to feel settled.

I’m grateful

to be making,
to be moving,
to be breathing.

Monday 25/8

Tools and bike arrived.

Nice

4th and final stage of trimming

Right???
(only work on computer)

when I am not sure what to do in the studio
I tap center for a little bit.
It is fun and a good skill to practice

Find some time to do something

While I was finishing up this blog, I heard my name being called from another part of the studio.

Manu, a fellow artist in residence here, was telling me to bring my camera over.

A big-ass mosquito (aka crane fly) was smitten with his freshly thrown pot. Maybe it was the texture?

We don’t know, but we sure had some fun trying to photograph it.

(no big-ass mosquitos where harmed)

m finding the height adjustable table to be such a good tool to stay active while on the computer.
great for making the Blog
